Qualtrics now provides researchers a fast and simple way to recruit participants for their studies. This product is live, customer feedback is positive, and we are now building it to scale to increasing demand.
My work touches every step of the product and user experience, which is now the foundation for multiple recruitment offerings. This project shows designing 0 to 1, creating systems that scale across multiple products, conducting user research, and now leading 1 to 2.

Browsing your options
This starting point helps users navigate the many third-party recruiting products at Qualtrics for expert users to quickly find what they’re looking for or for new users to explore for the first time.
Qualtrics Online Panels
A note: my work began on a single product flow that branched into multiple areas. All work shown here is used across the different branches.
The challenge: Design a system that organizes 6 distinct recruiting offerings that use the same underlying technology but are fundamentally different to our users, be the ingress to multiple products, and design the page to be flexible enough to add more offerings in later.
Defining your panel population
This page shows the immediate impact of demographic selections on panel cost and feasibility. This page functions as a calculator and playground for users to define populations, tweak them, and understand how selections affect the overall project cost.
Reporting on panel progress
This dashboard displays panel progress and health so users can make informed choices about how to manage their panel, view data, or compare panel performances for the same study.
My solution process

Simple to complex
This project began as a single flow. As it expanded in scope, the flows split into different distinct products.
